How to distinguish between Intel chip and Apple silicon?

Answer: Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen, select "About This Mac", and check the "Processor" or "Chip" column in the pop-up window. If it is "Apple M1" or "Apple M2", it is Apple silicon. If "Intel" is displayed, it means Intel chip.

If you still can't tell the difference, you can download the Intel version first, which is currently available on both chips.

Troubleshooting

  • Displays "LibCyber Desktop cannot be opened because Apple cannot check it for malware."

Answer: Click "Show in Finder" in the pop-up window, then hold down the Ctrl key, click LibCyber Desktop.app, select "Open", and click "Open" again.

  • M1/M2 Macbook shows that “LibCyber Desktop” is damaged and cannot be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

Answer: First go to System Preferences - Security & Privacy - General, click the "Open Anyway" button that appears below, and then re-run LibCyber Desktop. If it still cannot be opened or there is no "Open Anyway" button, open "Terminal.app" on the system, enter sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/LibCyber\ Desktop.app in the terminal and return To re-verify the file, you may be asked to enter the power-on password. The characters will not be displayed during the input process. Just press Enter again after completing the input. Finally run LibCyber Desktop again. This method of typing commands through the terminal will definitely work. If there are still problems, please try typing the command into the terminal again twice.

  • Unable to log in within the software, always showing incorrect password or network problem

Answer: The broadband operator in your area has some interference with international network access. Please try to optimize the system DNS settings (DNS modification method, click here to view)

  • Opening any website shows 400 Bad Request

Answer: Calibrate the computer time to Beijing time, then exit the client, restart the computer system, then open the software and reconnect. If it still cannot be used, the system version may be too old. Update the system or use a third-party client with better compatibility. Click here to open
